The Murtala Muhammed Airport, Terminal 2, MMA2 on Saturday June 29 hosted Nigeria’s first airport wedding.
The groom Abiodun Agboola and his beautiful bride Olamide Alli exchanged their vows at the ticketing hall of the terminal surrounded by their families, friends, and well-wishers
The barricaded section of the departure area for the wedding could only accommodate 50 guests during the ceremony.
The initiative called ‘My Airport Wedding,’ will help to promote the MMA2 terminal and Nigeria’s travel industry
The Chief Operating Officer of BASL, Mr Kola Bamigboye, told NAN that the wedding, which was the first of its kind at the airport, was to show the world that MMA2 is more than just a terminal.
He hoped that with the successful wedding ceremony, more people would choose to have weddings at airports.
“We like to bring people together. It’s either you are traveling through our terminal or you are coming here to solidify your love,” he said
