Paramount Rulers and first class chiefs in Cross River State have commended the developmental strides of Governor Ben Ayade especially his industrialisation effort.
The traditional rulers gave the commendation on Thursday when they paid a solidarity visit to the state Governor,at the exco chambers of the governor’s office.
Led by the chairman, state traditional rulers council and paramount ruler of Bakassi, His Royal Highness, Etinyin Etim Okon Edet, the traditional rulers declared total support for the governor and his administration to the last day.

The monarchs lauded the industrialization effort of the government, stating that the industries will create jobs for the people of the state.
While urging him to be resolute in his pursuit of a better future for the state, they expressed solidarity with his government as it seeks to create an economy for the state that will be less dependent on federal allocation.
“We came to give you solidarity, that we are behind you in the process of rebuilding Cross River state,” said Etinyin Etim Okon Edet.
Responding, Governor Ayade expressed immense delight at the visit of the monarchs.
He described their visit as his most comforting moment since the national crisis.
