Telecommunication giant, MTN Nigeria, has apologised for the service outage experienced by some subscribers on Saturday afternoon and promised that normalcy will be returned soon.
MTN subscribers in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and some other parts of the country experienced network outages as they could not connect to the network.
Some of the users who stormed the social media to lament the situation said there was no notification prior to the outage.
Reacting, MTN said it is working towards restoring normalcy in the affected areas.
In a post on its Facebook page, MTN apologized to customers experiencing the challenge, saying it was aware of the development.
The post reads, “Dear customers, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused!
“Some of our customers are having difficulty in connecting to the network today. We are looking into this and are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused”.
