Ondo State Governor,Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has charged the Nigerian Air Force to make the Akure Airport a priority in discharge of its operational duties.
Akeredolu gave the charge while receiving officers of the Quick Response Group 209 of the Nigerian Air Force Ipetu-Ijesa,Osun State led by Commander, Group Captain Idowu Ayo in his office in Akure.
The Governor who noted that the presence of the Nigerian Air Force officers was urgently needed at the Akure Airport said the state is ready to give all the necessary supports to the Command.
He added that the presence of the Air Force in the state would further strengthen the security apparatus of the state.

Earlier, Group captain Ayo congratulated the Governor on his re-election.
He said frantic efforts are already being made to ensure that the officers of the NAF are deployed to the Akure airport for swift response and other operational activities.

He thanked the Governor for his support while assuring that they are ready to serve the state diligently.
