A system disturbance on the national electricity grid at about 12.40pm on Friday has resulted in a nationwide power outage.
Findings indicate that load allocation to all electricity distribution companies (DisCos) dropped to zero megawatts immediately after the incident, effectively cutting off power supply across the country.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that efforts to restore the grid are currently ongoing, though no official timeline has yet been announced for full restoration.
