Cameroonian fighter, Francis Ngannou has apologised to his fans following a defeat to his Nigerian’- British opponent, Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia on Friday night.
Ngannou suffered a knockout defeat at the hands of the former world heavyweight champion in the second round.
A powerful right hand from Joshua prompted the referee to halt the fight in the second round.
He however apologised to his fans on his official X handle for letting them down, promising a better outing next time.
“Apologies to everyone; I feel I let you down,
“Today was a bad day in the office but tomorrow will be another day. Thank you all for the love,” he added.
