Nigeria on Friday recorded 213 new COVID19 cases taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 58,062 .
The country also recorded two new deaths as a result of the virus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) moving the death toll to 1,103.
The new cases were reported in sixteen state’s including the federal capital territory,Lagos and Plateau topped the list with 51 new Infections each followed by FCT with 29 new Infections.
Other States that recorded new Infections are,Rivers -18, Ondo -12, Oyo -9, Osun -8, Gombe -7, Ogun -7, Kaduna -5, Enugu -4, Edo -3, Jigawa -3, Kano -3, Benue -1, Delta -1 and lSokoto -1.
