“Oversabi Aunty “, A thrilling Nollywood comedy-drama directed and produced by actress Toyin Abraham is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 19.

The Ace actress announced this today after releasing its thriller in a post on her Instagram page- @toyin abraham.

The post reads: “She has a solution for everyone… and she’s bringing big comedy, family drama, loud laughter and real-life lessons along with it.

The cast of ‘Oversabi Aunty’ include ace actors Toyin Abraham, Mike Ezuruonye, Efe Irele, Queen Nwokoye, Jemima Osunde, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Tana Adelana and Toyin Afolayan, among others.

The plot of the star-studded family drama centres on Toun, played by Toyin Abraham, a self-righteous church usher whose overzealous obsession with “fixing” other people’s lives turns her family into a moral battleground.

Toun’s unrestricted tendency to interfere in other people’s matters lead to humorous and unexpected situations that make ‘Oversabi Aunty’ interesting.

The movie was earlier premiered on November 14 in Lagos, with its cast and crew members in attendance alongside other celebrities.

Toyin Abraham is renowned for delivering films that consistently break Nigerian box-office records, including Fate of Alakada (2020), The Ghost and The Tout Too (2021), Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper (2022),Malaika (2023)
