Former Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Kayode Fayemi has been sworn-in as the new governor of Ekiti State.
Fayemi was sworn in alongside his Deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi, at about on Tuesday afternoon by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Ayodeji Simeon Daramola in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
Dignitaries at the swearing-in ceremony include the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, among other.
