Delta State Governor , Ifeanyi Okowa has warned that those involved in the destruction of public and private properties across the state will have to contend with the law.
Governor Okowa gave the warning while inspecting buildings and other structures that were damaged in Asaba during this week’s unrest.
The Governor called on residents of the state to be vigilant and cooperate with government and security agencies to develop strategies to arrest and prosecute those behind such evil act.

“I urge our youth to stay vigilant. I know that this is not the intention of those that started the #ENDSARS protest. However, some criminal elements have come in to perpetrate this level of violence. It is unacceptable,” Governor Okowa said.
