Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has sworn-in Justice Patience Elumeze as the acting President of the State Customary Court of Appeal.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony in Asaba,the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the processes and structures that will enhance standards in customary law processes in the state.

According to him ,his administration will continue to promote the development of native laws and customs.

“This administration will continue to promote the growth and development of native laws and customs in the state.

” We will also improve the welfare and working conditions of members of the bench and staff in the customary court system,” Governor Okowa said.
