The Ondo state Commissioner for Culture Arts and Tourism, Mr Yemi Olowolabi has been honoured with 2019 Gold Award by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR.
The NIPR presidential award which was presented to him at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos on Thursday was in recognition of his numerous contributions to the success of the Institute in the last one year.

While presenting the award, the president of the Institute, Mallam Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo disclossed that Mr Olowolabi has been a great pillar behind the success of the Institute especially its Ondo state chapter where he donated a building for its operation.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Olowolabi described the award as a recognition of hard work and commitment to worthy course. He however said the award would only propel him to do more and continue to give his support to the Institute.

It could be recalled that Yemi Olowolabi was inducted into the Institute as an Associate member in 2018. One year after, the Ondo state Commissioner for culture and Tourism was found worthy by the Institute to be honoured with its prestigious award.
Other notable individuals and corporate organizations were also recognised by the Institute for their giant strides and contributions to the NIPR success in the last one year.
