Ondo SSG Dumps Akeredolu’s Government; Tenders Resignation Letter

The Secretary to Ondo State Government, (SSG), Mr Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena) on Monday resigned his appointment from the government of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu which he joined at inception.

It was rumoured three weeks ago that Abegunde will join the State’s Deputy Governor; Agboola Ajayi; in moving to the PDP but he denied the story.

Abegunde personally confirmed his resignation news on telephone this morning.

“Yes it is true, I have resigned my appointment as Ondo State SSG this morning, it is true my brother.”

With this move, he has finally dumped the Akeredolu’s government ahead of the October 10 governorship election.

The SSG who personally confirmed the resignation, said his next line of actions politically would soon be communicated within the next 24 hours.
