Jare Adebisi, Deputy Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola on General Administration is dead.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Omipidan confirmed it in a statement that he died last night after a brief illness noting that his death has nothing to do with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oyetola while condoling the family of the late Adebisi said he received the news of with a great shock, and described the deceased as a loyal and patriotic person, the governor further noted that the death of the late Deputy Chief of Staff is a personal loss to him and his government.
“I received with great shock the passing of my Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of General Administration, Jare Adebisi.
“His death is not only a loss to me personally and the people of Ilobu alone, but also to the State at large” He said.
The late Adebisi, who had served both as Assistant Chief of Staff and Special Adviser in the Governor’s Office, in the previous administration, holds an LL.M degree, he was pursuing his doctorate programme in Law before his death.
The deceased, from Irepodun Local Government, died less than a year after he was inaugurated into office.
Adebisi, 54, will be buried today in Ilobu town, State of Osun.
