Ekiti State Goveenor, Biodun Oyebanji has extended his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, colleagues in the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Political leaders and other stakeholders for the outpour of love on his birthday.

“wishes to express deep appreciation to God Almighty for His mercy, grace and favour that have kept him to witness his 58th birthday celebration in good health and excellent spirit.

“The Governor also expresses profound gratitude to the President, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his demonstrated love and support and for his felicitations.

“The Governor in a statement through his Special adviser(media) Yinka Oyebode “expresses profound gratitude to Ekitikete at home and in the Diaspora, political and religious leaders, traditional rulers, friends, associates, colleagues and family members for the outpouring of goodwill messages, birthday wishes, prayers as well as words of encouragement on the occasion of his 58th birthday, on Sunday , December 21, 2025.”

“The Governor also appreciates his colleagues in the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) for their hearty felicitations on his special day. His gratitude also goes to all former Governors of the state, members of the Ekiti State Caucus in the Assembly, members of the state assembly and state executive council as well as members of the Judiciary.

“In particular, the Governor expresses profound gratitude to leaders, friends, associates and family members that made cash and material donations, on his behalf, to the three state special schools in Ikere- Ekiti, Ido- Ekiti and Ikoro- Ekiti as well as the Rehabilitation Centre and the Therapy Centre for Children with Disabilities in Ado- Ekiti, as earlier requested in a statement last week.

“Governor Oyebanji says being able to put smiles on the faces of students of these special schools and several other people with disabilities, gave him a great measure of joy and fulfillment much more than any birthday party or gift could have done.

“While thanking everyone for their prayers and support for him and his administration, Governor Oyebanji wishes Ekitikete a merry Christmas and a prosperous New year in advance.”
