Osun State Governor,Gboyega Oyetola has reiterated government commitment to the growth and development of youths in the State.
The Governor stated this while receiving leadership of the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) and the Osun Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
The Governor said this commitment prompted why the sum of 1.5 billion naira was earmarked in the proposed 2021 budget for youth related activities.

This he said is to enhance their capacities and skills development in the overall development of the state.
“We’ve demonstrated this by voting about N1.5bn in the 2021 proposed budget for youth related activities. Osun youth are our greatest assets and we are determined to enhance their capacity & skills towards making them active contributors to overall development of Osun & the nation.”
The Governor charged the student leaders to always explore the options of dialogue and negotiations with government rather than embarking on actions that can jeopardize the peace and Stability of the state.
He reiterated his administration readiness to listen to the yearnings and aspirations of the people towards the development of the state.
