The Oyo State Government says it will partner with the National Emergency Management Agency,NEMA in order to tackle flooding in the State and reducing it to the barest minimum.
The State Deputy Governor,Engr. Rauf Olaniyan stated this while receiving 2020 NEMA Search and Rescue Operations Team led by Air Commodore E.K Adedokun

The Deputy Governor expressed the readiness of the state to reduce to the barest minimum the damaging effect of flood in the State.
He however assured them that government will be working closely with NEMA to sensitize the people on the need to be mindful of their environment and forestall the ill effect of flooding.
