The killing of an alleged notorious armed robber by men of the Bayelsa State police command appeared to have brought a sigh of relief to residents of the state.
The incident which occurred on Monday morning sparked a wild jubilation across the state.
It was gathered that the suspect, who had been terrorising the area with his gang members, was shot dead after he and his group allegedly robbed several people of their phones and money.
According to the police, there had been series of reports of criminal activities carried out by the alleged robber popularly known as “lawyer” within the state.
Sources at the scene of event disclosed that those who had fallen victim of his robbery were able to identify him after he was gunned down by the police team.
