A 12-year-old girl identified as Franklyn Chioma-Blessing, has been rescued by operatives of the Rivers State Police Command from a forest in Igbo-Kingdom, Etche Local Government Area of the state.
Chioma-Blessing who was declared missing in Port Harcourt on Thursday, May 11, 2023 was said to have left for school but never got to her destination.
Police operatives stormed a forest in Igbo-Etche on Saturday, May 13, and rescued the girl.
It is unclear if the girl was kidnapped for ransom at the time of filing this report.
