The office of SaharaReporters, an online platform, in Lagos state has been barricaded by men of the Nigeria Police Force as well as soldiers.
Members of staff of the media outlet were reportedly denied access into the office on their arrival for work on Wednesday.
A Police van was said to have been stationed in front of the office.
The security allegedly arrived the premises at about 7am and called on everyone inside to come out immediately.
This development comes less than two months after Omoyele Sowore, owner of the media outlet, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS), over a nationwide protest tagged ”RevolutionNow, he planned to stage.
He was arraigned in court and detained subsequently on grounds he was plotting to overthrow the government of President Buhari.
