President Buhari had a closed-door meeting with Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano, at the state House Abuja this morning, October 7.
The meeting comes barely 24 hours after the Federal Government threatened to declare a state of emergency in Anambra State as part of measures to address security challenges in the state.
The Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federal, Abubakar Malami, on Wednesday warned that the Federal Government may be forced to impose State of Emergency in Anambra.
This, he said, would be done to ensure peaceful conduct of the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The governorship election is scheduled for 6th of November.
