#Endbadgovernance protesters in Zamfara State on Monday resulted in violence as they blocked major roads, destroying and looting properties in Gusau, the state capital.
It was gathered that the protesters clashed with police operatives who tried to stop them from vandalizing and looting private and public properties at the roundabout near Central Police Station in Gusau.
It was also learnt that the security operatives were deployed to various restive areas in Gusau to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
Many shops and business places were closed as residents went into hiding to save their lives.
The protest prevented motorists and commercial motorcycle riders from buying fuel at filling stations, making transportation very difficult.
