Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr was at Chelsea’s training ground in London to discuss strategies ahead of Nigeria’s World Cup 2018 Qualifiers against Cameroon with star forward Victor Moses.
Rohr according to online reports few weeks ago met with the Chelsea wingback earlier today in London for talks ahead of the crunch back to back tie against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Victor Moses has played for the Super Eagles just twice since Rohr took over as coach of the team, no thanks to injuries and fitness issues. The same reason why he missed the last AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa which Nigeria lost 0-2.
Moses missed the game due to a toe injury, and had surgery during the off-season to keep himself fit for both international and club games later in the year. Already he has resumed pre season training with Chelsea.
So far he is in line to play in the back to back tie against Cameroon scheduled for the 1st and 5th of September, with the first leg tie coming up in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state Nigeria.
