The Ministry of interior have calmed the nerves of Nigerians assuring that no inmate escaped the attempted jailbreak at Ikoyi Prison on Thursday.
This followed reports of shooting at the prison earlier and online video circulating of thick smoke from inside the prison.
But the Ministry said the prison is under control as armed operatives are guarding the place.
