The South West Governors Forum have congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, as he turns 76 while describing him as a formidable stabilizer.
The Governors message was conveyed in a statement by the chairman of the forum and Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The Governor in a statement, signed by his Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo lauded the International Relations scholar for bringing to bear, his vast experience in the International Public Service.
The statement read in parts:”For enigmas like Professor Ibrahim Gambari, nothing seems too much to commit in terms of best wishes, especially when sound health is savoured. Here is a man who has brought his vast international public service experience to bear for the benefit of all.

“At 76, he has defied the artificial barriers of age by demonstrating an alluring capacity, amiable ability and a dispassionate exertion of exemplary leadership with precision. Undoubtedly too, he has committed an immeasurably enviable blend to all relationships as he encounter them.
“As we the Governors of the South West States heartily rejoice with our iconic Chief of Staff to Mr. President, Ibrahim Gambari on the occasion of his 76th birthday, we pray the Almighty Allah, in His infinite Mercy, grants him more grace, favour and wisdom in the discharge of his assigned responsibilities to the good people of Nigeria.
