Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has lost his mother after a brief illness, reports
Mrs Sarah Chukwueze died in the early hours of Thursday.
The announcement of Mrs Sarah Chukwueze’s passing was made by Samuel’s sister, Princess Chukwueze, and his brother, David, on their respective social media platforms.
Recall Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi also lost his father earlier this week.
Joseph Ndidi was involved in a fatal road accident in Delta State
The two players were part of the Super Eagles squad that finished in third place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
