Seven days after the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Aremu Akiolu was sacked from his palace by hoodlums who attacked and stole his staff of office during the EndSARS, the first class monarch was ushered in back to the office on Tuesday.
Traditional rites were performed by chiefs and kingmakers to welcome him back to his father’s throne.
Before the rites were performed to bring him back to the palace, the stolen staff of office had miraculously reappeared in the palace on Monday after several warnings and threats to the hoodlums.
