Three children have reportedly been killed while several others trapped at a three- story building which crumbled in Itafaji area, Lagos Island on Wednesday.
The residential building with several apartments is said to be housing a primary school at the top floor which according to source triggered the rate of casualty.
Emergency and rescue workers are currently at the scene of incident which occurred around 10am on Wednesday.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Kehinde Adebayo said officials were already on ground to carry out a rescue operation.
