Two corps members on Friday were injured following the collapse of a section at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) permanent orientation camp in Ise-Emure, Ekiti.
It was gathered from camp sources that the affected structure was the female convenience located in the camp.
One of the sources noted that the structure caved in on Friday morning when the corps members were taking their baths.
The sources said, ” Yes the wall of the bathroom in one of the female hostels collapsed this morning (Friday) . It was the bathroom wall which caved in when they were planning to take their bath.
“But thank God, people rushed down there to retrieve them from the rubbles. They have been stabilized at the clinic and they will get further medical treatments.”
The corps members are currently in the camp for the three weeks compulsory orientation camp for those posted to the state.
