The Sports loving Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has commended the renovation work on going at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Imo state capital
Governor Uzodimma expressed satisfaction at level and quality of work done already as it is a priority project for him.
He urged the contractors to speed up work for the possibility of reopening the Stadium with a friendly match this December.

He also disclosed that the contractors are working assiduously to ensure that the state football club, Heartland fc return to playing on their home turf.
He as usual urged Imolites to ensure that they join hands with the Government to protect all public infrastructure.
