Veteran Comedian, Baba Sala Bows Out At 82

Veteran comic actor, Moses Olaiya Adejumo, fondly known as Baba Sala, is dead.

The legendary ribs cracker reportedly died on Sunday at his house in Ilesa, Osun state, at the of age of 82.

The news of his demise was made known by his media aide, Isaac Haastrup.

“He came to church two Sundays ago and he was the one that said the benediction. Baba has gone to be with the Lord and he will be missed by many people including his fans,” he said.

The veteran comedian’s remains have been deposited at the morgue in Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.

Before he passed on, the renowned comedian recently solicited for financial assistance from members of the public after he was said to have critically down with stroke.

In the past few months, Baba Sala has been rumoured dead a number of times.
