After days of Online and offline protests by Nigerians ,President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday finally addressed them over their demand for scrapping of the Federal Anti-Robbery Squad.
In a video posted on his verified Twitter handle, Buhari said that the scrapping of SARS is the first step in his administration’s commitment to extensive police reforms order to ensure that the primary duty of the police and other law enforcement agencies remains the protection of lives and livelihood of Nigerians.

He also said that he had ordered a thorough investigation into the death of Jimoh Isiaka, who was shot dead during a peaceful protest in Ogbomoso.
