Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, has spoken after her sex tape surfaced on social media.
The video which surfaced on Saturday had since gone viral and have continued to cause a stir on social media.
Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, Lawal first confirmed she was the person in the tape before debunking rumours that she authorised the distribution of the said tape.
“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” her statement began.
“I want to emphasise that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorised distribution is a breach of my boundaries. However this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action,” the statement read.
While speaking regarding the viral video, the actress said she was not bothered, as she did not know how to engage in battles.
She added that nobody could use sex tape to “drag me down.”
“So about this matter, right? I wanted to keep quiet because you know I’m not a fighter, neither do I know how to insult.
“However, I made great so many sacrifices. I said no to so many things in my life. Even people who dated me and people who have tried to date me on this app will understand.
“They know how I am when it comes to sex matters. So the last thing you can use to try to drag me down is sex. Nah nah nah!” she said.
