The Director General of the World Health Organisation , Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he has begun self quarantine for coronavirus, after he was identified as a contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
The WHO Chief, in a series of tweet said he is well and without symptoms.
His tweets; ” I have been identified as a contact of someone who has tested positive for #COVID19. I am well and without symptoms but will self-quarantine over the coming days, in line with @WHO protocols, and work from home.

” It is critically important that we all comply with health guidance. This is how we will break chains of #COVID19 transmission, suppress the virus, and protect health systems.”
While stressing the need for individual to comply with all laid down protocols,he assured the organisation will continue to safe lives .
