Manchester United on Monday confirmed the signing of 16 years old Willy Kambwala from Sochaux on a long-term deal
The defender, is highly-rated and has already captained France’s U17s side and represented Sochaux at U19 level.
The deal could rise to as much as £3.6m, which is a significant fee given the player’s age and lack of experience.

Kambwala completed his medical at Carrington on Monday and he will go straight into United’s U18s set-up, where he’ll be looking to impress in order to step up into the first team.
Confirming the news on it’s website,the club said ” the centre-back’s arrival completes a busy period of Academy recruitment, which has seen eight players join United’s Professional Development Phase from outside of the club and five players from the Under-16s group earn scholarships.”
