Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq has lifted the curfew imposed in Ilorin Metropolis following the unrest that trails the #EndSARS protest.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor ,Rafiu Ajakaye said the “curfew in Ilorin metropolis is hereby lifted. This is effective from tomorrow, November 12.”
While urging the people to go about their duty peacefully,the Governor said the increased presence of joint patrols within the state is to further strengthen security in the state.

” Kwarans may however see increased joint patrols by security agencies within the metropolis and across the state. It is to strengthen the gains of the past weeks and keep criminal elements at bay.”
” Citizens are to go about their lawful business without any fear. The government sincerely commends citizens and all critical stakeholders, especially the security agencies, for their support for the measures taken to strengthen security in the wake of some recent developments.”
