The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State on Tuesday suspended it’s campaign rally at Usen,in Ovia South West local government area of the state.
The rally was suspended following a road accident that claimed the lives of two police Officers.
A trailer at Oluku junction reportedly ran into the convoy of former Edo governor, Adams Oshiomhole, while he was travelling with top chieftains of the party to the campaign ground.

According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the APC Media Campaign Council, Mr. John Mayaki, the campaign team said it was suspending the scheduled event, to honour the dead.
On behalf Pastor Ize-Iyamu and the APC, Mayaki condoled with the families of the victims, saying they were not alone in their grief.
He further pledged that the campaign team would reach out to the families of the policemen involved in the fatal crash and called on the public to pray for the soul of dead, and against the recurrence of such tragedies.
